ISLAMABAD: Seven men were arrested on Monday for harassing a Supreme Court judge and his family while he was travelling from Lahore to Islamabad.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood's car was stopped and attacked by local spiritual leader Haseebur Rehman and his six accomplices, police said.
The men were arrested after the judge called at the motorway police's helpline to lodge a complaint, investigation officer Muhammad Aslam told Geo News.
A case against the accused was lodged in Mandi Kaleki police station in Hafizabad.
The police obtained a 20-day remand of the arrested men from Gujranwala's anti-terrorism court, the police said.
