ISLAMABAD: The attorney of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said on Saturday that Parliament did not have the authority to discuss conduct of judges.
Sheikh Ahsanuddin responded to Aitzaz Ahsan raising questions over post-retirement perks provided to the former chief justice.
Ahsanuddin said the former CJP was provided a bulletproof vehicle on the orders of the Islamabad High Court. He added that Aitzaz Ahsan was silent on the LPG case decision against his wife.
During Friday’s Senate session, Aitzaz Ahsan had said that the former CJP was using a bulletproof vehicle which was beyond his entitlement on taxpayers expense.
