Third child dies after getting locked in car in Multan

MULTAN: The third child also succumbed to death on Saturday at the hospital after he passed out of suffocation due to staying locked in a car in Multan.

Five-year-old Alam Sher was under treatment at Nishtar Hospital. He was brought to the facility after the fell unconscious due to staying locked in a car.

Three children were playing in an old car parked in Zakariya Town, Shujabad tehsil when the vehicle doors got locked. Subsequently, Rescue 1122 was called, but by that time one of the three children had suffocated to death. The other two were taken to the hospital where one of them also succumbed to death. The deceased also include four-year-old Ali Hassan and seven-year-old Shehroz.
