A westerly wave is likely to enter upper parts of the country on Tuesday and expected to persist during the next 2-3 days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted.

Thunderstorm and rain with gusty winds are expected in the next twenty-four hours at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. An overall hot and dry weather is expected in the rest of the country, the MET said.

Past weather:

The weather remained very hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, thunderstorm and rain with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Hazara, Kalat divisions, and Kashmir.
