QUETTA: Use of dry fruit is part of life in Quetta during winter season but this season skyrocketing prices have deprived the people of this, Geo News reported.
Like most commodities, the price trend in dry fruits touched new peak when their demand hikes owing to rise in cold wave.
At present the price of almond has been raised to Rs600 per kg from Rs400, Chilgoza at Rs1000 per kg, cashew at Rs1000, pistachio at Rs600 per kg. The same trend in also seen in walnut, dates, and other dry fruits.
