Rain and thunderstorm expected at few places in the country

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted on Wednesday.

However, rain and thunderstorm are expected at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan. and D.I. Khan divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and its adjoining hilly areas.

A continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, and a shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country.

Past weather

The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Multan, Malakand, Hazara, Islamabad, and Kashmir.
