Moist currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country on Monday.

A westerly wave is expected to affect most upper and central parts of the country from Monday evening and likely to persist till Thursday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted.

Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours. However, rain and dust-thundershower with gusty winds are expected at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, D.G.Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, D.I. Khan, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Light rain and drizzle are expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.

Past weather:

The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Quetta & Zhob divisions.
