Moist currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country on Tuesday.

A westerly wave is affecting most upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist till Thursday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted.

Rain and dust-thundershower (with isolated heavy falls) with gusty winds are expected in the next twenty-four hours at scattered places in KP, FATA, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions) and Kashmir, while at isolated places in south Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Zhob Division.

Light rain and drizzle are expected at a few places along Sindh coast.

Hot and humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country.
