QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minsiter Nawab Aslam Raisani has approved additional Rupees 10 million for the expansion of monitoring system through secret cameras and expressed satisfaction over security arrangements and measures made by Police and law enforcement agencies during Muharramul Haram for the security of life and property of people and maintaining law and order.
He has expressed hope that concerned quarters through their coordination would mobilize all their abilities to foil any attempt at deterioration of law and order situation by anti social and terrorist elements.
He made these expressions at a briefing at CCPO Office here Monday during his visit to control room and briefing about arrangements during Muharramul Haram.
Chief Minister said that it is satisfying performance of Police and Balochistan Constabulary has increased for the past some time and successful actions against anti social elements are proof of it.
He said increase in abilities of Balochistan Police and Constabulary Force is a clear message to anti social elements and terrorists that they would not be allowed to play with the lives of the people and law enforcement agencies would bring them to the clutches of law.
Chief Minister appreciated Police, BC and FC's joint measures for maintaining law and order. He directed that during these security measures should be maintained after the Muharram and sense of security should be evolved among the people particularly business and commercial quarters.
Chief Minsiter was informed that a system of monitoring through secret cameras has been established in the city which would help speedy and effective action against anti social elements and this would work on permanent basis.
Appreciating this, Chief Minsiter approved Rupees 10 million on the request of Provincial Police chief Malik Muhammad Iqbal.
