Fire erupts in Indian embassy official’s house in Islamabad

No casualty was reported in the fire

ISLAMABAD: A fire erupted in the outer boundary of the house of an Indian embassy official early Friday morning, which was eventually put out by rescue teams and fire brigade officials.

The fire erupted after the generator, kept in the patio of the house, overheated. The fire spread till the gas meter and the trees, near the house, also caught fire.

The house is located in Sector 6-II. 

As a result of the fire, the close circuit television camera and gas meter were burnt. No casualties have been reported as yet.
