11 gamblers, three suspects detained in various raids in Karachi

KARACHI: 11 gamblers were taken into custody late Friday night in a raid on a gambling town here in Surjani Town’s Khuda Ki Basti, Superintendent of Police (SP)-Orangi Abid Ali Baloch said.

The police officer mentioned that gambling equipment, as well as cash, was recovered from the arrestees.

In addition, one suspect in the Lyari gang war was held during a search operation in Karachi's Sango Lane late Friday night, sources revealed.

Sources also mentioned that the detainee, who allegedly belongs to the group of gang war suspect Uzair Baloch, was identified as Saddam Baloch. Security officials recovered weapons from him as well.

On the other hand, three suspects were arrested during a search operation carried out late Friday night in Karachi’s Mobina Town, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)-Malir stated.

Rangers raid Lahore’s Badami Bagh

Numerous suspects were taken into custody during a search operation in Lahore’s Badami Bagh and surrounding areas late Friday night, Geo News reported.

The operation was conducted by law enforcement agencies, including police and Rangers.
