KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Wednesday demanded of Central Executive Committee of Pakistan People’s Party to explain in 10 days whether Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza’s outburst against MQM was the act in his personal capacity or the same reflected viewpoint of PPP.
MQM Leader Raza Haroon said this while talking to newsmen after a joint meeting of Coordination Committee Karachi and London here at MQM Headquarters.
Later, talking to Geo News in the current affairs programme Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath, Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri said MQM would hold a meeting with Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on December 19 to take up the matter.
He said the Prime Minister was, during Cabinet meeting today, informed about the tirade let loose by Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza against MQM – the main coalition partner of the PPP-led government in Sindh.
