LAHORE: Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the nation won’t be blinded by the baseless allegations against the most transparent leadership of the country.
Shehbaz Sharif remarks were issued in a statement released on Monday.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has served the nation without expecting anything in return. All development projects have been completed with transparency, he added.
Truth has prevailed over the negative politics based on lies, he said, adding, that the politicians who have created a record of lying have always relied on leveling allegations against others.
He further said that people who are leveling baseless allegations and telling lies should first take a look at their own selves.
“Spreading lies will not revive your political career,” he remarked while taking a jibe at his political opponents.
On Sunday, CM Punjab remarked that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan Chief Imran Khan got a taste of his own medicine, making an apparent reference to the cricketer-turned-politician’s money trail of his Bani Gala residence.
The CM Punjab made the remark following the PTI leader’s media talk where he said that he has submitted the money trail documents to the apex court and the impression that his case is similar to Panama Leaks is a misconception.
