Army Chief said that Pakistan attaches great importance to strategic relations with KSA

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa met with Saudi Vice Defence Minister on Wednesday and discussed matters pertaining to defence and bilateral ties, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The army media wing’s statement quoted the army chief as saying that Pakistan attaches great importance to its strategic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Bajwa also said that Pakistan is determined for the protection of Haramain Sharifain, according to the ISPR.

The Saudi minister praised Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism and assured it of cooperation in every matter, the ISPR added.
