Four petitioners challenged the Women Protection Act 2006 in Federal Sharia Court.
The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Sharia Court Agha Rafeeq announced the ruling of the court.
Court in its verdict ruled that the sections 11, 25 and 28 of the act were contradictory to the article 203 of the constitution.
