JI demands fair deal for Multan Road extension affectees
LAHORE: Jamaat e Islami has demaded the Punjab government to deal the affectees of Multan Road extension project in a fair manner and give them compensation on the rates equal to the affectees of Bund Road and Mughalpura bridge.

JI Deputy Secretary General, Dr Farid Piracha raised the demand talking to a delegation of traders at Mansoora here on Wednesday.

He said that the affectees should be paid according to the market value and those on rent should be provided better substitutes.

The building value should also be fixed at the present market value,he said.

He said JI would be compelled to join the protest of the affectees if government did not give them a fair deal.
