Multan women to attend BB anniversary

MULTAN: A large number of women will leave Multan for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on December 25 to attend third death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to be held across the country on December 27.

PPP women wing president, Multan city, Begum BA Jigar said that party workers had finalized all the arrangements for departure to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and railways has allocated three coaches for the purpose.

She said that Mahafil-e-Quran Khawani would be held across the country and food will be distributed among the poor on Dec 27.

She said that scores of people would lay floral wreath on the grave of their martyred leader.

Paying glowing tribute to Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, she said that she infused new life into democracy in Pakistan by sacrificing her life and added that President Asif Ali Zardariand Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani will keep serving the people as per vision and principles of their martyred leader.
