LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Sunday that former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar did not create any hype about his press conference today, which was primarily about the ministry’s performance under him.
The federal minister was addressing media in Lahore, shortly after Nisar held his press conference at Punjab House.
Taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Saad said that the medical teams sent by Punjab govt to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is for the service of people - and it should not be politicised.
"Imran Khan and Pervaiz Khattak should cooperate with the Punjab government in the effort against dengue spread. The medical teams from Punjab should be given access to public hospitals of KPK."
Responding to a question he said that the party made correct decision to make Pervaiz Malik in charge for NA-120 election campaign.
"Hamza Shehbaz made Malik incharge of the election campaign," he said, adding, "Malik is a devoted political worker."
Responding over a question, Rafique said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is healthy and is not travelling abroad.
"There is no truth in the news that Nawaz is travelling abroad in comming days," he said.
