PM Abbasi calls on Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra, Raiwind.

Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also attended the meeting.

Various issues of national importance came under discussion in the meeting. In addition, Prime Minister Abbasi briefed Nawaz on his meetings with lawmakers during his visits to various parts of the country.

The prime minister was received by Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on arriving in the provincial capital.

Prime Minister Abbasi will also preside over a federal cabinet meeting later today. The meeting will have a nine-point agenda, including expansion of the tax net and appointment of new CEO of the Pakistan International Airlines.

The premier visited Karachi on his first official visit on August12, while he visited Balochistan on August 19.
