Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 8 in a launch ceremony on September 12, reported CNBC.

An updated iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will also be among the products to be introduced alongside the high-end iPhone 8.

Apple is also reportedly planning to announce a much upgraded 4K Apple TV and a new Apple Watch.

Reports suggest that the iPhone 8 will feature a display which will cover the entire front of the phone and will use OLED panels with enhanced brightness and sharper colors.

According to rumors, Apple has also re-designed other physical aspects of the iPhone 8, which will feature the traditional iPhone’s fingerprint reader at the back of the phone. A new 3D sensor, which will support facial recognition, will replace the old fingerprint reader on the front.

The iPhone 8's high-end model is expected to retail at $1,000.

Apple has yet not confirmed any reports or made any comments.
