RAWALPINDI: The death sentences for three accused convicted of orchestrating the murder attempt on former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf, were put on hold on Friday.
The convicts that were to be hanged today were: Khalid Mehmood, Nawazish Ali, and Mushtaq Ahmed.
The Rawalpindi bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) heard the petition filed.
None of the three defendants were provided copies of hearing of the case while their lawyer has filed for a valuation request.
