Parking incharge at Abbottabad hospital shoots dead patient: police

ABBOTTABAD: A patient was killed while two others were injured reportedly when a parking incharge at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Teaching Hospital opened fire at them on Thursday.

According to the police, the accused opened fire following a dispute over parking. 

The incharge told the patients and attendants to not park their vehicle at a certain spot, police said. 

When the latter did not listen to him, the parking incharge opened fire, killing the patient and injuring the two other people accompanying him, police added. 

The killed person had gone to the hospital for a check-up, added the police.

Later, the accused fled the site while people nearby started protested the incident.
