ISLAMABAD: The counsel of ex-Rawalpindi CPO Saud Aziz said today that threats in case of Benazir Bhutto's appearance from the escape hatch had been conveyed to Rehman Malik, Geo News reported Wednesday.
Aziz's counsel, Waheed Anjum, addressed the press here today.
Both the security in charges of Benazir Bhutto, Rehman Malik and Major Imtiaz were informed of the threats by the police official, counsel claimed.
He pointed out that it was then Rehman Malik's responsibility to stop BB from doing this and if the protocol was followed the tragedy would have avoided.
The counsel noted that no evidence was lost due to hosing down of the crime scene and questioned Joint Interrogation Team to prove if any.
