GUJRANWALA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan Wednesday said that war against terrorism is our own battle and termed it wrong to call it a fight exclusively of the US, Geo News reported.
He said this while talking to media men at a seminar on Pak-US relations here at Gujranwala University.
Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Mushahid Hussain Sayed on the occasion said that the US policy in Afghanistan has totally fizzled out and now it is feared that US might try to fix its blame on Pakistan.
He termed year 2011 as very crucial for Pak-US ties and also for important developments in connection with Afghanistan.
Mushahid Hussaid stressed that Pakistan needs to reformulate its foreign policy keeping in view the existing ground realities.
He asked: “If Afghan president Hamid Karzai could talk about drone attacks what fears prevent our rulers to do the same.”
