Altaf rings Elahi, Sheikh Rasheed

LONDON: Quaid MQM Altaf Hussain Sunday phoned leader of PML-Q Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and AML chief Sheikh Rasheed and discussed those causes which led to MQM’s rejoining of government benches in National Assembly, Geo News reported.

MQM chief held telephonic discussion with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed during which, the former took under confidence the duo on MQM’s decision to rejoin government in Lower House, according to statement issued from London.

During the conversation, Altaf assured two leaders that despite MQM’s recent move, his party would continue fight for the rights of people.

“MQM will keep on raising voice against government’s anti-public decision despite being part of federal government, ” Altaf assured.

Also, MQM Quaid discussed prevailing political landscape with leaders of two parties.
