UAF student wins Presidential gold medal

FAISALABAD: A student of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has won the Presidential Gold Medal.

A spokesman of the UAF told here on Sunday that University of Agriculture Faisalabad had the most active and well disciplined Scouts Group in the country. This group provides a platform for better grooming and personality building of youths, ethically and physically.

He said that Aftab Nazeer, a student of M.Sc. (Honors) Agri Engineering UAF, has won the Presidential Gold Medal after a tough competition in selection camp for President Gold Medalist Rover Scout (PGRS), 2010 held in Walton, Lahore.

It is a great achievement and matter of honor for Agri-varsity Scouts Group as well as University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), he added.
