LAHORE: Railways Minister Saad Rafique on Saturday criticised Pakistan Peoples Party for refusing to engage with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on election-related legislation and said that co-chairman Asif Zardari is working on some unknown agenda.
“We know whose agenda Imran Khan is working now, but Zardari is working on some unknown agenda,” the minister said after a meeting with PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.
Rafique added that that PPP and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf can hold rallies if they want to but before that they should sit together with PML-N to bring constitutional amendments regarding delimitation ahead of 2018 elections.
“It is not PML-N’s interest; it is in the national interest,” he said.
