MULTAN: PML-Q leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday demanded the Punjab government make full payment to the affected shopkeepers of the Multan Road besides providing them employment.
He said the government was paying Rs 1.9 million per marla to the affectees of Mughalpura overhead bridge against the official rate of Rs 200,000.
He said the government wanted to make payment of Rs 600,000 per marla to the affectees of the Multan Road while the market rate was Rs 3 million. He was talking with a delegation of traders.
