Students at the Peshawar University are continuing their protest for the third consecutive day. Protesting students have set up a camp outside the administration block of the university.

The main demand of the students is a withdrawal of the recent 10 per cent hike in tuition fees. They have also sought scholarships and for the university to provide facilities such as transport and housing to students.

The administration of the university has informed students that a meeting on 7 December will discuss the increase in tuition fees, however, students say they will continue the protest until their demands are met.
