ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan is making a fool of himself through his redundant speeches.

In a statement, Aurangzeb in a reaction to Imran’s statements in a string of rallies across Punjab, said that the federal government did the work of the provincial government as well in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The state minister said that the entire nation has its sight set upon the cases against the PTI chief, which include party funding case, parliament, PTV attack cases in the Anti-terrorism court, Election Commission of Pakistan and the Supreme Court.

“If Imran had not talked but carried out useful work instead then people wouldn’t have been protesting outside Bani Gala,” said Aurangzeb.

“Tell us about the 350 small dams constructed in KP?” said Marriyum Aurangzeb.

Earlier, Imran Khan addressed a rally in Sheikhupura, claiming former National Accountability Bureau chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry helped facilitate corruption cases of the government officials.

Imran said that once in power his party will not spare Qamar Zaman, until he meets justice and is behind bars.

The PTI chief further said that people have come to streets against the PML-N.

Faced great difficulty in holding the rally, said Imran while lambasting Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura for the hurdles.
