ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated on Monday the first phase of Pakistan’s kidney and liver transplant centre here.
The CM Punjab also addressed the inauguration ceremony, where he said that the first phase of the project became operational costing Rs20 billion.
The CM Punjab said that the centre is the first of its kind in South Asia.
He said that the patients across Pakistan not only Punjab will be treated at the kidney and liver centre.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the credit for the journey of progress goes to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said that the politics of sit-ins has destroyed the country, adding that peace will not be established in the country due to sit-ins.
