Govt fulfilled promise to end loadshedding: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday the government has fulfilled the promise to end loadshedding across the country, claiming that surplus electricity is being produced by Pakistan now.

The state minister gave the message on the birth day of Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Aurangzeb said that it was due to the Quaid’s political struggle and leadership that Pakistan came into being.

She said that the Quaid’s personality is a beacon of light and the entire nation pays its respects to the leader.

She said that in 2018, for the second time in the country’s history, a peaceful transfer of the democratic system will take place, further strengthening democracy.

Aurangzeb said that in 2013, the reports of Pakistan being bankrupt proved to be wrong and it is due to the efforts of the government that Pakistan is being considered an emerging economy in the world.

She added that the former prime minister’s vision against terrorism has almost been fulfilled.
