Section 144 imposed in Tando Allahyar

HYDERABAD: The Administrator District Government Tando Allahyar has under Section 144 Cr.P.C. imposed ban on pillion riding and display of arms and ammunition within the revenue limits of Tando Allahyar District for period of two days on January 25 and 26.

The Administrator also imposed ban under Section 144 Cr.P.c. for assembly of five or more persons. Wile exercising the same powers, the Administrator also imposed ban of speeches, which could harm the people of different sects, playing of audio and video cassettes and use of loud speakers within the revenue limits of Tando Allahyar district for above mentioned dates.

The participants of religious gatherings, mourning processions, majalis and members of the law enforcement agencies have been exempted from the orders.

The Section 144 Cr.P.C. has been imposed in the district following the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 others companions, the order said.
