Lok Virsa to hold Multan Cultural Festival
MULTAN: National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa, has scheduled a week long cultural festival in the historical city of Multan on Feb 19 to capture the local traditions of the city.

A large number of master artisans, craftsmen, rural musicians, folk-artists, folk-entertainers and folk-dance-groups from all over the country including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir will participate in the event by demonstrating their skills for nine consecutive days.

Executive Director, Lok Virsa, Khalid Javaid said the festival will provide unique opportunity to the craftspeople not only to display their artisanship at a central platform but also sell their products to the public without the involvement of middleman.
