Swine Flu: 2 admitted on suspicion in Multan

MULTAN: Two patients were admitted to Nishter Hospital on suspicion of contracting Swine Flu, Geo News reported Wednesday.

A separate ward has been allocated for patients of Swine Flu in Nister Hospital, Multan.

According to the focal person of Nishter Hospital, Dr. Zafar Alvi, so far two patients had been admitted to the hospital for suspicion of contracting Swine Flu. The patients are: a female named Asma Jafri, aged 28 and 60 year old male, Javed Iqbal.

The samples for necessary lab tests have been sent to Lahore.

Dr. Zafar said the confirmation of whether the disease is present or not would be made after the medical reports are received.
