Police arrest 29 accused in Karachi

KARACHI: Nine police stations of Karachi Zone South police apprehended 29 accused including a woman kidnapper and recovered illegal weapons, mobile phones, cash, snatched vehicles and drugs from their possession, police said.

As per details, Maripur police arrested a bandit, Bux, from Budhni Goth Hawksbay area and recovered a TT pistol and two bikes from his possession while his three other aides managed to escape. The accused used to rob the families who came to visit Hawksbay. The accused was suspected in several cases of robberies, street crime and murders.

Darakhshan police arrested three street criminals, Zohaib, Ghulam Hussain and Shehzad, and foiled a bid of mugging near SeaView. The police recovered two TT pistols, a knife from their possession.

Preedy police arrested nine absconders, wanted in several cases.

Kharadar police arrested three accused including a woman Zaitunnisa, Sameer and Abbas involved in kidnapping and robberies and recovered two TT pistols and three mobile phones from their possession.

Garden police arrested an alleged robber, Salman, and recovered a TT pistol from his possession.

Meanwhile, four other police stations of South police also arrested 10 suspects involved in several cases.
