14 runaway children rescued by CPWB
FAISALABAD: Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) rescued 14 runaway and unclaimed children from various areas of the city.

A spokesman of the CPWB told APP here on Friday that these children were trapped in social evils like begging,addiction and pick pocketing etc.

Some children were surviving with the skin of their teeth while working as rag pickers.

These children were rescued from railway station chowk, general bus stand, Millat road, Shadaab colony and D-Ground under the safe custody of CPWB, stated the spokesman.

As many as 76 children are already residing at this bureau where they are being provided best educational and training facilities.

The children rescued by CPWB are: Muhammad Akbar Ali, Bilal, Faisal, Sajawal, Javaid, Zulfiqar, Majid, Saqlain, Shehzad, Nadeem, Rahish, Aamir, Baraat Khan and his brother Rehmat Ullah.
