Two NATO oil tankers torched

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two NATO oil tankers were burnt while three partially damaged in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Mithri area of Bolan on Monday.

According to eye witnesses and the official sources, the convoy of NATO tankers carrying oil for ISAF forces stationed in Afghanistan was way to bordering town of Chaman from Karachi when unidentified armed men attacked in Bolan area and fled from the seem.

Resultantly, two tankers were gutted and three others got partially damaged.

Local administration along with the fire brigade reached the site and started the rescue work. Fire brigade after the hectic efforts put out the blaze.

Local administration has started search for the saboteurs.
