Nurses demand restoration of allowances

MULTAN: Hundreds of nurses staged a rally for increase in salaries and restoration of allowances.

Nurses took out a rally from the hospital which culminated at the PM camp office.

They said their services were regularized by the government, but allowances were deducted which resulted into reduction in their salaries.

The nurses said the deduction caused financial problems to them. They said it had become very difficult for them to run their kitchen in high inflation.

They demanded the government review the deduction and ensure a reasonable raise in their salaries.
