Two injured in Karachi, Hyderabad rail track blasts
KARACHI: At least two persons have been injured in four blasts, which occurred at railway tracks near Karachi and Hyderabad on early Friday, suspending the train service on up and down tracks, Geo News reported.

According to details, two explosions hit railways’ up and down tracks near Baloch Colony here in Karachi, injuring two persons.

Meanwhile, another two blasts hit rail tracks near Hussainabad in Hyderabad, but no loss of live or injury was reported in explosions.

Railways’ up and down tracks received damages on both occasions as according to SSP Jamsheed Town Karachi Aamir Farooqi, a 1.5 feet portion of railway track near Baloch Colony, got damaged by blasts.

Blasts have brought train service on up and down tracks to complete standstill; meanwhile, rescue teams, police and rangers’ personnel have reached at explosion scenes and cordoned off the area.

Also, bomb disposal squad has been called in to determine the nature of blasts. Hazara Express, left from Karachi railway station, has been stopped after the explosions.

Injured men have been shifted to hospital for medical attainment.

Two more blasts hit railway tracks near Hussainabad in Hyderabad on early morning but no causality or injury has been reported in the incident, police sources confirmed to Geo News.
