KARACHI: A waiter of teashop was killed while owner injured in firing on Thursday in the limits of Mobina police station, police said.
Duty officer at Mobina police station Mohammad Ayub said that the incident occurred at a tea stall in Metroville-III. He said that four men came to a Quetta Tea Hotel in Metroville Block 1 to have breakfast.
He said after serving them breakfast the waiter brought the bill which they refused to pay. After exchange of hot words the men pulled out their TT pistols and fired multiple shots on the waiter identified as Abdul Samad Khan, 25 son of Syed Mohammad and the hotel owner Abdul Haseeb son of Haji Yar Mohammad. As a result, both received bullet injuries and rushed to a private hospital in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area where Abdul Samad Khan succumbed to his injuries.
The body was, later, moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.
