1 killed, 2 injured in road accident

SARGODHA: A man was killed while two others got injured in a head on collision between a truck and a tractor, police said on Thursday.

On Lahore Sargodha road near Syedona Tehsil Bhulwal, a rashly driven truck No. KG 759 loaded with cement was going towards Lahore and collided with tractor No. SA 6744 coming from the opposite direction.

Driver of the tractor Muhammad Qasim resident of Chak No. 88 SB died on the spot while Rehmat and Zahoor injured.

The truck driver escaped by leaving truck on the spot.

The Bhulwal police have taken the truck in to custody and registered the case against its driver.
