LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain telephoned Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari on Friday to discuss the latest developments regarding the situation in Yemen.
According to an MQM press release, both leaders discussed Pakistan’s stance on the state of affairs as well as the matter of providing assistance to Saudia Arabia.
During the conversation, Altaf said that there is an immediate need to call for an All Parties Conference tomorrow to decide on the issue of Pakistan’s involvement.
The two leaders agreed that the decisions taken should be those which are only in the interests of Pakistan.
