Judicial Commission had sent the proposal to Parliamentary Committee for the service extensions of six additional judges in SHC.

The Parliamentary Committee’s meeting was held with Nayyar Hussain Bukhari on Chair in Islamabad in which Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Mehtab Akbar Abbasi, Ishaq Dar and Sabir Baloch were also present.

Nayyar Bukhari while talking to media after the meeting said that the committee has rejected to extend services of two additional judges of SHC – Justice Tasneem Aslam and Justice Salman Hamid, – however other four judges – Justice Imam Bux Baloch, Justice Azhar Rizvi, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Nisar Ahmed Sheikh - have been given extension for one year.
