KARACHI: Sindh police during the last 24 hours arrested 333 accused including three notorious robbers each with Rs0.5 million head money and recovered illegal weapons and drugs from their possession, police said.
As per details, the police conducted operations against the criminals and anti-social elements. They apprehended three notorious robbers after encounters, each carrying Rs0.50 million head money. They include Ghulam Nabi Lound, Mashooq Leghari and Liaquat Brohi.
The police in others actions arrested 44 accused involved in heinous crimes while 43 accused were nabbed red handed from the crime scenes. Moreover, the police apprehended 16 proclaimed offenders and 230 absconders.
The police during these operations recovered four Kalashnikovs, eight guns, 25 TT pistols, two revolvers, one repeater gun, one SMG gun, a knife, 220 bullets, 11.3kilogram of hashish, 40 grams of heroin and 324 grams of opium.
