Pak struggles to evacuate citizens from Libya

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson has stated that the Foreign Ministry is in close contact with its missions in neighbouring countries for evacuation of Pakistanis living in Libya, Geo News reported on Monday.

Foreign office spokesperson in a statement said that arrangements are being made for evacuation of a group of Pakistanis who have already arrived in Turkey.

Pakistan has set up a Special Task Force in the Foreign Ministry to monitor the situation round the clock and to provide assistance to Pakistani expatriates.

Pakistani embassies in the region were on "high alert" and have set up situation rooms to cope with contingencies. (GEO URDU).
