Rescue and relief activities were kicked off shortly after the tragic accident. Sources said the accident took place due to over taking on Bhakkar Road near Kot Khera.
At least three passengers succumbed to injuries whereas many injured have been said to be critical in condition.
Seriously wounded passengers are being shifted to District Headquarter Hospital, Jhang, sources said.
