LAHORE: The strike from doctors’ community in protest against delay in salary raise for young doctors has been making patients suffer all across Punjab for some days as people were treated for their medical disorders under camps outside hospitals, Geo News reported.
Doctors held checkups under camps outside hospitals’ premises in Lahore.
Meanwhile in Faisalabad, doctors set up camps at roads and said that though the protest will continue till meeting of their demands but hinted at provision of medical facilities to patients.
The other cities in Punjab where patients suffered from doctors’ strike included Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and almost all cities in south Punjab where government hospital doctors carried on their strike on Monday.
Doctors in Multan set up free medical camps in all government hospitals for outdoor patients.
