FAISALABAD: The local administration said that at least ten people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a blast near an office of law enforcement agency in civil lines areas of Faisalabad, Geo News reported.
Nature of the explosion was still not known but initial reports suggested that it was a CNG cylinder blast reportedly at a CNG station. DCO Faisalabad Nasim Sadiq has confirmed the toll. Television footage showed damaged CNG station and vehicles.
Rescue workers were trying hard to help the people trapped under the debris of affected buildings. Injured and the dead were being shifted to the nearby hospitals.
