FAISALABAD: Complete shutter down strike was observed in the city here on Wednesday to mourn the death of innocent people in Tuesday's bomb blast.
24 persons were killed and more than 130 injured in the incident.
The traders pulled down the shutters of their shops and continued to visit the DHQ Hospital and Allied Hospital to express solidarity with the injured.
The office bearers of Anjuman Tajiran also visited the residences of those who were killed in the blast and offered Fateha for the departed souls.
A special condolence meeting was also held at Anjuman Tajiran's office where holy Quran was recited.
The participants demanded of the government to pay adequate compensation to the families who had lost their beloved ones and also to the shopkeepers whose properties were damaged in the blast.
